The Hi-Boys are a wild traditional rockabilly band hailing from the Sunshine Coast, Australia but have not let the big island hold them.
Forming 3 years ago they have performed at the biggest rockabilly festivals Australia has to offer, including Greazefest, Cooly Rocks On and Camperdown Cruise and have also played alongside some of the greatest international acts including Big Sandy, Los Straight Jackets, Deke Dickerson and Dale Wastson, as well as Australian icons Cold Chisel and The LIving End. The Hi-Boys have also merged themselves into the indie rock scene playing at festivals like The Big Pineapple and Caloundra Music Festival sharing stages with some of the best known acts in Australia. Getting to show the sound and energy of their music, is no wonder why The Hi-Boys fans keep growing.
Their music combined with a wild stage presence caught the eye of the world renowned rock and roll label WILD Records from Hollywood, USA and in January 2014 saw the band get signed to WILD Records. Their debut album “SHAKE” was recorded in August 2014.
In 2015 The Hi-Boys got a sponsorship by Australian pomade company Kingbrown Pomade and have been supporting the boys throughout their adventures.
2016 was a big year for The Hi-Boys, setting sail for Europe for their 3 week European Tour. With two major RocknRoll festivals Bethune Retro in France and International Vintage Festival, Belgium and 10 show around Europe and UK from Germany to Ireland.
A new album is in sights for 2017 to be recorded on WILD records in LA. Released before their next UK trip in June where the boys will be playing world famous “The Rockabilly Rave” festival in England
Their passion for music and love of the road mixed with the raw talent of 4 young lads from Australia will be seeing The Hi-Boys playing shows all over the world.
